Fall Colors This Year

Most likely, you have paid witness to at least one of Minnesota's colorful changes from summer to autumn, but this year the fall will be even more spectacular. The Department of Natural Resources says that the festival of colors on trees through out the state might shine brighter this year due to several factors. The first cause being the fact that Mother Nature has blessed us for two years with plenty of rain during the growing season. Another cause is that we've had a pretty good balance of warm days and cool nights, this is a balance crucial to plant life. The DNR expects the colors to peak between late September and mid-October for us here in the metro.
