1. What is the role of the reporter's segues in this story?

• The segues were mostly between pictures or videos and interviews. They worked well because they gave the story while still letting the interviewee tell their own side.

2. Why do you think she did not include a stand-up in the story?

• A stand-up was not important to the story, there was no real place to do the stand-up that would've made sense. The information given by the narrator and the interview were all we needed to understand the story well.

3. What is the biggest surprise in the story?

• The biggest surprise in the story was that Shayna was pregnant even before her fall and that she and the child both survived.

4. How does the story end with hope?

• The story ends with Shayna pushing her healthy baby in a swing and gives the audience reassurance that she, her husband and their child are all okay.
